Family Picnics
Wednesday nights are picnic nights during the month of May at GCCC! We are hosting four family picnics by the creek behind the church---May 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th---and we would love for you to join us! Bring your lawn chairs, lawn games and a dish to share, and come on out for a great time of fun and fellowship. The church will provide the meat and the drinks. We don't often get much time as a church body to sit down and talk together, so come out and get connected! The picnics will begin each week at 6 pm. See you there!

Blood Drive
The American Red Cross will be holding a blood drive at GCCC on Monday, May 21st from 1-6 pm, so mark your calendars now and plan on donating blood! This year's blood drive will be in memory of Mindy Kratzer-Haines. There are sign-up sheets in the church lobby if you are able to donate a food item or help serve the day of the blood drive. Thanks for your support!

Legislating Authority Training
Do you have questions about Legislating Authority? Do you desire to learn more? Join us Saturday, May 12th from 9:30 to 11:30 am at the Warehouse. Bring your questions as we dig deeper into our role in Legislating Authority. Stay tuned, and additional trainings will be held throughout the summer.

TheCall, Virginia
God is calling each of us to cry out to Him on behalf of our nation, and we have an incredible opportunity to join others in the body of Christ for an exciting day of gathering together to do just that! GCCC is organizing a one-day trip on May 26th to Fredericksburg, Virginia to participate in TheCall. Lou Engle, founder of TheCall, writes, "Recently, I have found myself burning with a sense that we are being brought into another great crisis in American history. A house divided against itself can not stand. We are in a moment where we need to cry to God for the blood of Jesus to cleanse us from the sins of this nation. It is with this vision that we are going to Virginia for TheCall...This year we believe is a hinge of history moment; we are going to hold TheCall Virginia and dare to believe that as the nation gathers to Virginia that God would show us undeserved mercy." For more information on TheCall Virginia, go to thecall.com. If you are interested in participating, please contact Steph at stephgoodling@yahoo.com.
