Hi, our names are Sue Kinney and Angela Kreisher, and we are so excited to have the opportunity to oversee the kids' ministry at GCCC. We love kids and are committed to seeing them live their entire lives as passionate followers of Jesus Christ. It is our desire for them to know that God is calling them to follow Him even now---that they are not too young to be filled with His Spirit and to expand and impact the Kingdom of God today!

Leadership Team Names (from left to right): Emily Wright, Sue Kinney, Bethany Zechman, Stephanie Goodling, Angela Kreisher, Cathi Crossgrove, Diane Eberly & Tammy Dietz.
We would love to meet your children and have them join us as we learn and grow together in Christ. Please be assured that all of our volunteers have submitted to background checks and have obtained child clearances so that we can assure, to the best of our ability, your child’s safety. If you have any questions or comments, or if you would like to help serve in our children’s ministry, please feel free to contact us.
February- "Honor"- Letting someone know you see how valuable they really are
"Love each other deeply. Honor others more than yourselves." Romans 12:10, NlrV
Countless times throughout the Bible, God uses children to accomplish His purposes. We believe that is still the desire of God’s heart.
Here at Grace, our focus is to provide an environment where kids will experience the presence of God. We strive to create that environment by:
- Providing a safe and accepting place for kids
- Teaching kids how to live a life of worship, a life set apart for their Savior
- Building foundations of Truth—using the Bible as the standard to which they measure their lives (beliefs, attitudes, and actions) against
Psalm 37 says that children are God’s greatest blessing, and we are so excited to have the incredible opportunity to lead kids into a personal and life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Relationship-Building Time
Because we desire our kids to build relationships with other kids, as well as with teachers and helpers, a portion of our Sunday mornings will be spent in “Relationship-Building Time.” During this time, we use various methods to encourage your children to interact with one another. Sometimes the kids play connection games, where they learn fun things about one another, and sometimes we simply ask kids to share what is going on in their lives, at home, at school, etc. We have been so blessed to become more involved in the lives of the children God has sent to us and to watch them form friendships with one another.
Kids’ Worship
Kids’ worship is an exciting, high-energy time in which we encourage your children to be free in expressing their love for God as we sing together, dance, lift our hands, bow down, and simply enjoy God’s presence.
We also focus on what worship is, why God is so worthy of our worship, and the different ways we can worship God each and every day. Our scripture basis for this time is Romans 12:1, “Present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God. This is the true worship that you should offer.”
Children are continually reminded that true worship
is a lifestyle of obedience to God.
Life Teaching
A portion of our time will be spent providing your children with a relevant “Life Teaching,” which will be based on our theme for the month. Teachings will be fun and interactive, as we explore with your children topics such as God’s love for them, who Jesus is, hearing the voice of God, and praying for those who are sick. We also use this time to help your children “hide God’s Word in their hearts,” as we learn and practice together our Bible verse of the month. It is our goal to see kids grasp the truth of God’s Word and begin to apply it to their own lives.
Reinforcement Time
The final portion of our time together will be spent doing various crafts, activities and games that reinforce the lesson topic for that week. We will also have discussion time, in which kids can ask questions or comment about the life teaching. Often, we also take time to pray together or for one another, asking God to help us apply the truths He has taught us.
